the only way we can power off is if we actually press power button on server. Running on HP DL-G4. from root, when we issue command it just returns to root prompt.

What be the exit code of the acpi_available command?
What about the other possible commands, like
haltpoweroff(tel)init 0-
systemctl halt(if relevant)
?
