My SCO box has lost connection to the internet. It sites behind a fire wall and is connected to a local network. What should I check for.
Do you have a default route? Dunno the specific syntax for SCO, but it's probably "route" or "route show". If you can ping local machines but not yahoo.com, then that's probably it.
I notice my resolv.conf file looked incomplete. So I went on line with a pc and figured out it was missing "nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx" line. I quickly typed it in there and I was online in no time.
