Im new to all of this unix and i wanna know how to get a shell account.

In order to have a shell acount - you need to first install Unix on your system! There are loads of choices, some of which are FREE!!!
There are even shell emulators for Windows, like UWIN and MKS Toolkit. I like the later as it is, for the most part, the same as ksh.
A lot of people seem to like mandrake as a begginners system but I've just downloaded Red Hat 8.0 , [www.redhat.com] it's 3 CD's worth which is about 650Mb per CD (2 Gb in total).

Install Solaris for wintell, at least you'll be learning on industry relevant stuff then
