HP-UX 11iv3 crash on integrity bl870c during os kernel boot

I have a problem it seems to me as kernel panic during os booting i attached screen shots for the error

With no background information this is impossible to guess. Is this a cold build, a newly upgraded system, or a reliable system which failed?

The error messages suggest a blank, corrupt or missing boot device.
Suggest you contact your support agency and get a complete hardware map drawn highlighting the primary boot device and any mirrors of that device. Check that the boot parameters point to a valid working device and consider changing the boot parameters to point to a known good device.

Good time to review your backups.

@methyl

It's a fresh install of hp-ux11iv3 we did kernel tunning to it for oracle RAC we did many successful reboots after tunning

Unfortunately I have no experience of v3...
But based on old issues I had to deal with, two things come to mind:
a new kernel (but too big to boot...)
someone got the disks puzzled (conflicting, you know like 2 devices with same SCSI ID...)

My 2 cents

Good luck...
I will keep you informed if I can think of anything else, but I am in a big porting phase and should be in production next week so have not much time to spare...

@vbe
what do yo mean by

Can i copy kernel file under

/stand/vmuinx

from a healthy sysem and replace the courrpted one on the affacted system

Looks like the kernel registry is corrupt. Oracle RAC is known to do that.

The following might help you: IT Resource Center forums - HP-UX 11.23 not booting

Possibly a mirror disk is missing

Using the EFI shell, what is the output from "search all" and "map -r"?
