how to make less capacity on /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s5

backup the data in /app. boot the server from external media (dvd; network). use "format" to recreate the slice 5 (in the size you need it) and use "newfs" on slice 5. boot the server and restore the data.
if you need the data in /app at boot time you need to restore the data BEFORE booting from the internal disk!
