How to install/configure OpenSSH4.1 on Solaris 10

Hi All,

I am New to Open SSH. I need to install OpenSSH on Solaris 10. We tried with Sun-SSH1.1, but not helpful. So, we need to install only OpenSSH.

Few questions..

  1. Is OpenSSH-4.1 compatible with Solaris 10?
  2. if so, which version do I need to install? is it Portable or OpenBSD?
  3. Are there pre requisites for configuring/installing OpenSSH on Solaris 10?

Are there any locations/previous threads that has instructions to install OpenSSH on SOlaris 10? if so, can you please direct me there?

thanks in advance..

Installing OpenSSH Packages

Why are you installing OpenSSH on Solaris 10, Sun's SSH on Solaris 10 works fine, the only action you have to take is to create the SSHD servers keys?
I use openSSH on Solaris 8 and Sun's SSH on Solaris 10 and SSH between both with no problem.
Take a look at:
