how to find which c/c++ compiler is used in solaris10

Could you tell how to determine the c/c++ compiler version installed in the solaris 10/solaris 8.

IT could be very helpful if you can tell me the pkg name also.

Douwnload th companion DVD, it has gcc. There you can see the verion too.

In default installation there is no compiler.

Download Studio 12 from SUN, there you have the complete
SUN C/C++-Compiler, Debugger and so on.
For SUN it is the better compiler, than gcc.
