How to exit system console from HMC?

Hi,

I ssh to HMC, then vtmenu, then start a system console from there. How do I exit the console to return to HMC prompt? I've tried the following two key combinations but none of them is working: (1) ~~ (2) Ctrl+[, Shift+(

Is the key combination not ~. (tilde dot)?

You got it. Yes It is working - ~.

However, one issue remains. The "~." sent me back to CSM server prompt, rather than HMC prompt. Is any way to return to HMC prompt?

Aha!

I never normally connect to a console in this way.

Try ~~. (tilde tilde dot)
