How much better performance is ultra SPARC IV+ 1.95GHz than 1.35GHz?

Dear Guru,

 My boss has a plan to upgrade cpu of server so he needs to know how much better performance\(percentage\) is Ultra SPARC IV\+ 1.95 GHz than Ultra SPARC IV 1.35 GHz?. 

 I am looking for documentation to reference but I didn't see anything close to my point. If who know, please share it or share your opinion.

I'm not aware of 1.35 Ghz UltraSPARC IV+.
If you mean UltraSPARC IV+ at 1.5 Mhz, I would expect a gain ranging from ~0% if the application isn't CPU bounded to ~30% if it is.
If the older CPU is actually an UltraSPARC IV at 1.35 Ghz, the gain might be larger than 45% as the newer CPU has several architecture enhancements including the support of a four level and larger internal cache.

why not use the sun try&buy offer to do your own benchmark before you make any decisions?
