i have os 5.1 and i do mirror with hdisk0 and hdisk1 on rootvg
at the end i get error in mail that:
At least one partition mirror is broken please call sysadmin
hd5 boot 1 2 2 closed/stale N/A
the other fs seems ok and sync
what to do about the hd5???
Are you talking about AIX?
Knowing what OS does help when it comes to administration issues...
What command(s) did you use to mirror? (if AIX e.g. mklvcopy? mirrorvg? smitty?)
yes aix and the os is 5.1
i use the mirrorvg command and mklvcopy
Moved here (AIX forum) from dummies...
After the sync finishes try a
# varyonvg rootvg
If that does not fix the problem come back with the then error message.
