Gnome 3.28.3 menu item dissapears under the system menu

I installed CentOS 8 with Gnome 3.28.2 and I noticed that the "switch user" menu item disappeared from under the system menu of Gnome classic (Both X11 & Wayland). I checked google and this problem seems to have a history going back several releases of Gnome.

Unfortunately, I never found a solution to this and can't figure out how to make it reappear. I've done a yum update... but that didn't fix it. Can someone offer me any guidance on how to make it reappear? I have to give a presentation on CentOS 8 next week... And the last thing I want to do is start off by saying "I don't know why..."

Log Files:

To know why, we normally look in the log files. Did you search your log files? Do you know which log files capture Gnome events?

Have you tried this basic Gnome log tool?

Have you considered installing Gnome logs (if you need / like GUI log file views, personally I don't use them)?
