# PRINT QUEUE PRINTER DESCRIPTION

Printer hp@Printer generic (ASCII)

It's printing fain but in Arabic it's giving some garbage fonts .

Is there solution for this issue ?

is there any feedback about this ?!

It would help to know the make and model of the printer.
Can you trap the output to the printer and save it in a file.
The most likely causes:
The printer default font is arabic
The printer driver adds an escape sequence that loads the arabic font in the printer.
The printer driver converts the text input file to a pixel mapped file.
The printer buffer/memory is defective.

Can you please explain more in this regard!?

Try re-creating the printer as "PCL" not "ASCII".

But it's printing Arabic fain in 5.2 with ASCII ?! Whats the difference in 6.1

isn't there any documentation that came with the printer ? drivers etcc ?

No I dont think that related to the printer itself, I think there is something need to be installed in AIX like the languages Im not sure
Can anyone advise us in this !!!
