examples of hyperlinks in emails

Hi All,

Im using bash on a sloaris box.

I am using mailx to send emails from the unix box to internal email accounts. Does anyone have an example of how I can generate a hyperlink within the email body so that when the recipeint recieves the email, they can click on the link and the link will open up the directory on the unix boz after a uername/pw has been types?

I also have a web server running on the unix box.

Kind regards
Satnam

Depends wholly on the mail client and nothing else, since email is nothing but plain text. Some email clients automatically turn strings beginning in http:// into links, some have limited support for HTML tags, some have both.
