/etc/rc2.d/ check if kerberos server is enabled in the log or not

Hi,

I tried to execute a command to check if

  1. Kerberos server is enabled
  2. Printer Daemon is enabled
  3. GUI Login is enabled,

do advise how I check from the logs below on how to check whether the commands are valid or not?

It's not scientific because you are just relying on the file names, but these files are read when you server changes run-level. When starting run-level 2, each of the S* scripts will be run in turn with a parameter of start This list gives you an idea of what will be attempted to be started, but the best way is to query the current state:-

service --status-all

This will list every service (started like this) so you may need to fileter the output.

Does that help?

Robin

thanks robin, but the results files were back already. Is there anyway to read it from kerberos from rc2.d, if kerberos is there what will it look like.
