Hello All

Why is hpux is not much spoken in the unix/Linux platform. what is the disadvantes in HPUX

HP-UX is a big, expensive, proprietary UNIX which runs on its own special architecture, PA-RISC, or the still-unusual Itanium. So it's not exactly the sort of UNIX you can install over a weekend if you feel like tinkering with it. (Though not completely impossible for a home user to get -- older hardware can sometimes be had for a bargain on ebay.)
