Control M user permissions on Red Hat Linux

All,
Requirement: Permissions Required for Control M on Linux
I am using the Linux as the operating system.
I am told to get an user configured for Control M on Linux.
The user would be an authenticated user created by the client.
The user created requires permissions to be made available so that scheduling of the jobs, running and executing them can be carried out.
I have gone to various team members but none had any idea what permissions are required.

Hence requesting me to assit.

It is a long tjme since I used Control-M, but I believe that the Control-M Administrator has to provide the appropriate security authorizations to CONTROL-M users using the CONTROL-M Security Maintenance Utility (ctmsec)

In my experience control M just needs a user and a group, like ctmag and controlm. This user and group is used for the install and to run the agent utility scripts only.

However, the service itself runs as root, and does an "su" when it runs a scheduled job as another user. Because it runs as root there's no reason to configure special execution privileges.
