Command to find the "unix machine type".

Hi all,
Just need some help the following scenario,
Is there any UNIX command to find the unix machine type (like whether the machine is belongs to Ssun ultra 45 type) like that .. please help me

uname -i ?

For more details check the output of /usr/platform/"$(uname -i)"/sbin/prtdiag or /usr/sbin/prtdiag on Solaris 10 (the first line).

For Sun:

# prtdiag | grep System
System Configuration: Sun Microsystems  sun4u Netra 240

For Linux (Most Flavours)

# dmidecode | grep "Product Name"
Product Name: ProLiant DL380 G3
