Check free space in Solaris Volume Manager

I 've 300Gb Lun assigned to my system which has soft partitions , is there any way to check how much the space i have used out of 300Gb ? and how may more soft partitions i can create and expand the existing ones ?

check the "metastat" command...

If it is mounted as file system then Check using #df -h

As Duke says, metastat. Specifically, -p will show you the offset and extent of the softpartitions, you can compare that with the total number of blocks on the metadevice they are sitting on.

Mr_Webster posted this just recently:

I've not tried it at all and I'm always wary of metarecover at the best of times, so test it someplace safe and see if it helps
