X11, CDE and user interface stuff
- The file/usr/lpp/X11/defaults/xserverrc should contain the line
- EXTENSIONS=" -bs -d 24:mir0 -d 24:lai0 -d 24:mtn0 -d 24:mint0 -d
24:mojl0 "
to enable backing store and 24bit colours for special graphics cards (here
GXT2000P, GXT135P, GXT3000P, GXT550P and GXT4500, respectively), if
installed.
- CDE configuration
Path definitions in/etc/dt/config/Xsession.d/0010.dtpaths
Actual icons and datatypes in/u/bio/.dt/appconfig
- adjust screen resolution (for machines with graphic cards)
- smit - Devices - Graphics Displays - Select the Display Type
choose momitor, then
Select the Display Resolution and Refresh Rate
