can aix 5.x run on a old powerpc model 250

have an old powerpc model 250, currently on aix 4.3.2...64 meg in size of memory..

Can any of the AIX 5L, 5.1, 5.2, or 5.3 run on it at all ??

You need to have at least 256MB ram to be able to install Aix 5.x

from the release notes of AIX 5.1:
Minimum Memory Requirements
The minimum memory requirement for AIX 5.1 is 64 MB. However, when you are migrating from an AIX 4.3 system with 64 MB or less, the migration might not complete successfully in some cases. It is recommended that the memory on the system undergoing migration be increased to 128 MB.

250 - I'm guessing it s a little old 7011-250, in which case 5.1 is the absolute limit, if you can fit it into 64 Meg.

I have an old 7012 with 256MB and it installed 5.1 OK but a bit of light command prompt exercise is about all it can do with that little amount of memory...
