For books check Amazon or your favourite online book store.
Can also have a look at scribd or books.google.

The absolute best book I ever found for AIX is the AIX Survivial Guide from Andreas Siegert. But sadly it stopped with AIX 4.3.3 and there came never a new book out from him. Still very helpful though.

I recommend AIX 5L Administration by Randal K. Michael. Disclaimer: I once worked with the author; but that doesn't mean he didn't write a good book. I think his shell-scripting book is good, too. Mastering Unix Shell Scripting: Bash, Bourne, and Korn Shell Scripting for Programmers, System Administrators, and UNIX Gurus

The IBM redbooks are free for the downloading:

BM Certification Study Guide - pSeries AIX System Administration

If you come from a Solaris or generic UNIX background, this might help:

AIX Reference for Sun Solaris Administrators

And (almost) everything you ever wanted to know is available from the IBM pSeries and AIX Help center.

pSeries and AIX Information Center

And I would be remiss if I didn't suggest that you Read The Fine Manuals:

pSeries and AIX Information Center

They are tough to read, but there is a lot of good stuff there.
