I would like to know the significance of 2 way and 4 way and 8 way Hardware Description, like 2 way p595 and 4 way p695 servers.
What exactly does "2 way", "4 way" mean ?

way represents the number of physical processors on the server. It is not necessary it is in active mode. You can have a 8 way server with 4 processor active mode and 4 processor inactive mode.
